Chodsigoa hoffmanni Chen et al., 2017

Three specimens were collected on a trap-line in dense bamboo shrubs at an altitude of 2100 m (Table 1). Lunde et al. (2003) reported the occurrence of this species at lower elevations (1500– 1600 and 1900–2000 m), thus the altitudinal range on Mt. Tay Con Linh is 1500–2100 m. Although this species was reported as Chodsigoa parca by Lunde et al. (2003), specimens from Yunnan Province in China and Mt. Tay Con Linh were subsequently separated and described as a new species, Cho. hoffmanni, by Chen et al. (2017). Chodsigoa hoffmanni is now known only from Mt. Tay Con Linh in Vietnam and Wuliang Shan and Ailao Shan in Yunnan Province in China (He, 2018c).
