SCORPAENIDAE

Scorpaena azorica Eschmeyer, 1969, was included in the Mediterranean by Hureau and Litvinenko (1986) and successively recorded by Golani (1996) for the Israeli coast with specification that the taxonomic status of this species needed reappraisal.
