Distribution. Widely distributed on the western Pacific islands (Ryukyus, Taiwan [including Penghu and Dongsha], Guam, the Philippines, Sulawesi, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu.

Remarks. Uca jocelynae is found in the western part (west to Vanuatu) of the western Pacific, in contrast to the range of its sister species U. neocultrimana (east to Fiji) (Shih et al. 2010a: fig. 1).
