V., 3 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 126 ; Salto, ex leaves of Citrus × limonia ( Rutaceae), 31°22’40.3”S 57°45’02.6”W, 2.iv.2018, coll. Pechi, E., 3 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 98 .

Hosts. Polyphagous, reported from 84 species belonging to 42 plant families (García Morales et al. 2016).

Distribution. Australasian, Afrotropical, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions (García Morales et al. 2016). This is the first record of Ps. cryptus in Uruguay.
