Description, diagnosis and remarks: Description of the type species Bolua turkiyae is given in Ünal (1999) and supplemented by Çıplak & Heller (2001). Data presented here (see Figures 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27) are consistent with these descriptions. This species can be distinguished from B. balikesirensis sp. n. by male cercus (compare Figures 9 and 10). However, differences between B. turkiyae with B. bursaensis sp. n. are not prominent, but they can be identified by male cercus again (compare Figures 9 and 11). Apart from the qualitative morphology, the PCA analyses applied to female measurements distinguished B. turkiyae and B. bursaensis sp. n. from each other (Figure 27). Along with morphological differences, B. turkiyae corresponding PG 1 in phylogenetic tree (Figure 2) is definable by 53 unique mutations (Figure 31). The high net pairwise distance and F ST values with the other two phylogroups also support its distinctness as a species (Table 3).

Although Çıplak & Heller (2001) presented and described a male calling song for this species, that song record is from Uludağ— Bursa Province, the type locality of the new species described here, P. bursaensis sp. n. Presently song of this species is not available to study and to compare with the other two. This species occupies the eastern part of the generic range in the western part of the Anatolian Black Sea Basin (Figure 1).
