Geographical distribution: Far East Asia; China, North Korea, Eastern Siberia, Russian Far East and Japan (Iwan et al. 2020). In spite to be distinct by its body shape, sculpture of the pronotum disc, aciculate elytral punctation and even more its aedeagus, this species is considered erroneously as a synonym of N. picipes by Akita & Masumoto (2017).
