Geographical distribution: From southern Balkans to Transcaucasia and Iran; Azerbaijan, Albany, Armenia, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Macedonia, southern Russia and Türkiye (Iwan et al. 2020).
The aedeagus of this species is quite variable, as shown by Schawaller & Grimm (1995: 72), specimens coming from Greece having longer aedeagus with parameres apically broader (Fig. 22 vs Fig. 21).
