Geographical distribution: From Latium (Italy) to NW Türkiye; Albany, Croatia and Italy (Iwan et al. 2020); in Italy, in the southern half of the country and in Sicily where it only occurs in few localities of the Madonie and Nebrodi mountains (Aliquó et al. 2007). Occurring in Albany, it is not so surprising to discover this species in Greece (Etolía) and in the extreme NW of Türkiye.
The aedeagus of this species is quite variable, as shown by Schawaller & Grimm (1995: 72), specimens coming from Albany, Greece and Türkiye having apical tip of parameres larger (Fig. 19 vs Fig. 18).
