Odocnemis intrusicollis (Seidlitz, 1896)

Seidlitz, 1896: 726, 733, 753 [ Helops (Stenomax)]; Gebien, 1942: 429 [ Cylindronotus (Omaleis)]; Nabozhenko, 2008: 37 ( Odocnemis); Nabozhenko & Löbl, 2008: 244 ( Odocnemis).

Note. This species is unknown for us. Seidlitz (1896) compared O. intrusicollis with Odocnemis nigropiceus Küster, 1850 (the tuberculigera species-group) from Greece, which also has elytra without tubercles. The species is described by a female (or females).

Distribution. Cyprus.

In addition, Odocnemis crenatostriatus (Allard, 1877) was listed from Famagusta (Cyprus) by Freude (1952). But this species is known only by one syntype (studied, collection MNHN) from Cephalonia Island in the Ionian Sea (Greece) and its distribution in Cyprus is doubtful.
