Neohydatothrips tabulifer (Priesner)

Sericothrips tabulifer Priesner, 1935: 351 .

Described from Japan and recorded from Taiwan, this species is newly recorded from mainland China, and identified from the published description. In the specimens listed below the color of mid- and hind femora is yellow to yellowish-brown, but the original description states that these are dark brown.

Material studied. 1 female, 3 males (in SCAU), CHINA, Guangdong Province, Cuizhu Park (22°33′49″N, 114°07′39″E), Shenzhen, from Antidesma bunius (Euphorbiaceae), 9.X.2012, coll. Yang Shu-lan.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Taiwan); Japan, Malaysia.
