Redescription. Male. Dorsal coloration. Head, pronotum, scutellum, clavus and corium pale yellow; eyes pale reddish; ocellar tubercle and punctures of pronotum, clavus and corium darker; antennal segment I yellowish orange with dark spots, II–III shiny reddish, and IV bicolored reddish brown with basal third pale yellow; calli and anterolateral margins of pronotum pale yellow; midline of pronotal disk with pale yellow longitudinal stripe without punctures; hemelytral membrane pale ambarine with an irregular dark brown spot near basal angle; costal margin of corium with dark reddish row of punctures; connexivum pale yellow with upper and inner borders darker; abdominal segments III–VI pale yellowish orange and VII pale brown with middle third pale yellowish orange. Ventral coloration. Head yellowish white, with lateral punctures dark brown; rostral segments I–IV pale yellow (apex of segment IV black); pro-, meso-, and metapleura yellow with dark reddish punctures; pro-, meso-, and metasterna, and metathoracic scent gland yellowish white; coxae yellow with one small dark brown discoidal spot; trochanters yellow; femora yellow with dark spots; tibiae and tarsi pale yellow to yellowish orange; abdominal sterna pale yellow with few small brown spots lateral to midline, and with several scattered pink spots; midline of abdominal sterna III–IV and occasionally III–VII with dark brown longitudinal stripe.
Female. Color and habitus similar to male. Connexival segments VIII–IV yellow; abdominal segments VII–IX pale dark; genital plates pale yellow with scattered dark punctures.

Body length 10.88; head length 1.92; head width across eyes 1.44; interocular distance 0.92; preocular distance 1.28; postocular distance 0.19; interocellar distance 0.16; antennal segments: I 1.96, II 2.20, III 1.96, IV 2.64; pronotum: total length 1.76; maximum width across frontal angles 1.16; maximum width across humeral angles 1.84; scutellum: length 1.12, width 0.71.
Female. Body length 11.33; head length 1.88; head width across eyes 1.48; interocular distance 0.98; preocular distance 1.28; postocular distance 0.19; interocellar distance 0.16; antennal segments: I 2.08, II 2.36, III 2.04, IV 2.96; pronotum: total length 1.84; maximum width across frontal angles 1.20; maximum width across humeral angles 1.92; scutellum: length 1.12, width 0.76.
General distribution. Orirginally described frorm Guatemala (Las Mercedes, and Purula), Nicaragua and later cited in Mexico (Veracruz: Barranca de Metlac and Zongolica) (Distant 1881; Brailovsky & Zurbia 1979).
