Diagnosis.

Trissolcus ruidus may be separated from T. parma by the presence of rugae on the lateral frons (Fig. 86) and longitudinal elements that are often present in the sculpture of the mesoscutum between the notauli. Like T. parma, it may be separated from the other members of the Trissolcus thyantae group by the presence of microsculpture on the mesoscutellum.
