Pronotum: Red, base narrowly dark red to black-brown, slightly dilated anteriorly, slightly constricted towards base; coarsely wrinkled; length:width ratio 1.53:1.

Scutellum: Black.

Elytra: Basal third red, beneath humeral margin dark brown to black, each elytron with a whitish to yellowish lateral spot in the basal third and a whitish to yellow transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; remainder black; diameter of punctures mostly larger than interstices, behind fasciae impunctate; length:width ratio 2.5:1.

Legs: Dark red-brown.

Lower surface: Head and thorax light brown to red, around coxae turning into black, abdomen dark redbrown to black.

Vestiture: With yellowish to red-brown hairs.

Distribution: Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe.
