Type locality: Brazil, Bahia, Ilhéus, Fazenda Almada. Type host: Isothrix pictus (= Callistomys pictus (Pictet)) . Typology: Holotype male, ‘allotype’ female, two female, and four male paratypes held by FIOC. There are paratypes of both sexes in alcohol, vial 257 in support 26, at FIOC. Two pairs of paratypes were donated to BMNH (former GHE Hopkins Collection).
