Moser (1913a) originally designated Schoenherria squamulifera Brenske, 1897 as thee type species, but that nominal species was transferred to Carlschoenherria Bezděk, 2016 by Itoh (1992).An application to the Commission is necessary to fix Anisopholis clypeata Moser, 1913 (as in Lucas (1920)) as the type species of Anisopholis to conserve current usage.
