Genus Typhloroncus Muchmore, 1979
Type-species. Typhloroncus coralensis Muchmore, 1979 .
Diagnosis (modified from Harvey & Muchmore, 2013). Eyes reduced or absent. Tergites and sternites undivided. Both fingers of chelicera bearing marginal teeth; rallum of 4 dentate setae; galea a long, slender stylet. Venom apparatus well developed in both fingers of palpal chela. Chela bearing 30–33 trichobothria, with 4–5 in ib region, the 3 more proximal ones close together at the base of a slight elevation and describing an obtuse triangle; eb, esb and isb on lateral side of hand, usually distributed in a vertical row. Pedal tarsi with subterminal setae of varying form (simple, acuminate; dentate near tip or lanceolate); arolia undivided and shorter than claws. Anterior margin of anal operculum adjacent to or abutting posterior margin of sternite X.
