(Figures 3C, 13)

Palpostilpnus tamasek Reshchikov, Santos, Liu, Barthélémy, 2019: 32 .

Holotype: ♀, SINGAPORE, Nee Soon Swamp Forest (LKCNHM).

Diagnosis. Reddish body with black markings; occipital carina complete; postero-ocellar distance 2.0–2.4× ocular-ocellar distance; mesoscutum elongate, anteriorly protruding above pronotum; propodeum without carinae or with short stub of lateromedian longitudinal carina posteriorly.

Material examined. 1♂ (IEBR), VIETNAM, Tuyen Quang Province, Na Hang, Son Phu, 22°17’32”N 105°28’19”E, 573 m a.s.l., 1–10 July 2017, Malaise trap, Khuat D.L. coll.

Distribution. Previously known from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore (Reshchikov et al. 2019). It is the first record of this species from Vietnam.

Remarks. In comparison with the holotype and male paratype from Singapore, the Vietnamese specimen has shorter postero-ocellar distance (2.0× ocular-ocellar distance vs. 2.4×), differences in coloration of pronotum (reddish vs. black) and mesopleuron (mainly black vs. mainly reddish). Otherwise, it agrees with the original description of Reshchikov et al. (2019).
