Distribution. Previously known from China (Reshchikov et al. 2019). These are the first records of this species from Vietnam.

Remarks. In comparison with the holotype specimen, the Vietnamese specimens have shorter postero-ocellar distance (1.5–1.6× ocular-ocellar distance vs. 2.0×). The specimen from Cao Bang Province has entirely black flagellomeres instead of yellowish F1–F7, the specimen from Vinh Phuc Province has reddish brown transverse stripes on T2 onwards instead of black stripes. Otherwise, they agree with the original description of Reshchikov et al. (2019).
