Dorsal shield 282 long and 150 wide; j1 41, j3 98, j4 4, j5 5, j6 5, J5 5, z2 9, z4 8, z5 5, Z1 6, Z4 77, Z5 102, s4 128, r3 43, R1 26; distances between st1-st3 67, st2-st2 65 and st5-st5 82; ventri-anal shield 88 long, 48 wide at level of ZV2 and 55 wide at level of anus; JV5 25; movable cheliceral digit 26 long, with 1 tooth; fixed cheliceral digit 25 long, with 7 teeth; calyx of spermatheca 3 long; Sge II 12, Sge IV 29, Sti IV 38, St IV 48.
Specimens examined: Novo Horizonte (21°03' S, 49°18' W), July 2008, on B. decumbens (1 Ƥ).
Remarks: This species was previously known from Argentina (Guanilo et al. 2008b), Australia, Benin, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Martinique, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Reunion Island, Taiwan, Venezuela and Zaire. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those given by McMurtry & Moraes (1984) for specimens from New Caledonia.
