Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan, Hunan, Hubei).
Remarks. Jiang et al. (2015) reported a new species, S. bruna from Hubei and Hunan province, China (Figs 87, 91, 92), while Zhuang et al. (2014) described a new species T. sichuanensis from Sichuan province, China. After careful comparison of these two taxa, we reached the conclusion that S. bruna is a synonym of T. sichuanensis Zhuang, Owada & Wang, 2014 (Figs 13, 55, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90, 93), based on the following reasons: 1) Although the two taxa were collected from different locations, these locations are very close in proximity to each other (Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces), and they have very similar appearance and genitalia, 2) The uncus of S. bruna illustrated by Jiang et al. (2015) had most likely been lost in dissecting and mounting, so Jiang et al. assigned this species not to Toxoides Hampson, [1893] but Stenopsestis Yoshimoto, 1984 . In addition, this species is newly recorded for Yunnan, China.
