Saudi Arabia: 7 exs. [1♂ without aedeagus and without palisade setae at the posterior margin of sternite VII], Al-Hejaz ["Hedjaz"] (BMNH, cAss). Pakistan: 1♂, Baluchistan, Zhob Valley, sand desert, 27.-31.VIII.2008, leg. Gurko (cSch) ; 1♂, Northwest Frontier Province, South Waziristan agency, near Tanai village, 1500-2500 m, 28.VII.- 12.VIII.2005, leg. Gurko (cAss) .
Comment: According to COIFFAIT (1968), the type material is composed of a male holotype and two female paratypes from "Borkou, Bir Nazara" and one male paratype from "Ennedi, guelta de Guir Kaqué". The above material from Tibesti and Iran was standing as L. fontinalis in the Jarrige collection at the MNHNP. For an additional record from Yemen see ASSING (2012b).
