Miomantis paykullii Stål, 1871:
Senegal to East Africa, Egypt to Israel, invasive in Portugal (Marabuto 2014); a very common savanna species, strangely not sampled yet neither at Lamto nor in the CNP, but known from across the border in Ghana (pers. obs.) and from Korhogo in the Ivory Coast (Gillon & Roy 1968).
