Distribution. African savannas south of the Sahara (Prost & Roy 1986; Ragge & Roy 1967; Roy 1962a).

Remarks. A rarely sampled savanna specialist. Nymphs are graminicolous, later instars and adults arbusticolous. New Ivorian record.
