REMARKS
The record of this species from Puntarenas, Argentina, by Ozerov (2005) is considered an error. A locality with the name Punta Arenas is known from Chile (province Magallanes) and one called Puntarenas (province Puntarenas) from Costa Rica, but not from Argentina. As no Sepsidae have been recorded from Chile thus far, and as the species is already known from Costa Rica, it is believed that Ozerov’s locality refers to Puntarenas in the latter country.
New to French Guiana.
