Comments. Olalquiaga (1964: 83) cited specimens from Codpa (Región de Arica y Parinacota: Arica Province), identified by G. Steyskal as Pterotaenia sp.; presumably may correspond to P. peruana . Olalquiaga (1968) additionally cited other specimens reared from pears collected at Quebrada de Suca (Región de Tarapacá: Tamarugal Province), identified as Acrosticta sp. by the late G. Steyskal. As the specimens are unknown for the authors, it is impossible to check the last identification.
