Distribution. Europe, Asia Minor, North America (Danışman et al. 2022; Vogel 1968; WSC 2022).
Remarks. The species was described from South France and since a few decades shows strong spreading tendencies within Europe. In the Balkans, Z. rubidum is known only from Slovenia (Kuralt & Kostanjšek 2016). The new data (Fig. 76) outline the southern limit of its distribution in the Balkans at present.
