Length. Body 2.3 mm, wing 2.8 mm.

Material examined. Kýrþehir prov. 1♂, Hirfanlý barajý, 39.266 N, 33.518 E, 842 m, banks of the dam, 28.iv.2001, sweep net, leg. L. Gençer.

Distribution. Europe: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including Corsica), Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia. Asia: Western part (Middle East, Georgia and Uzbekistan) (Shamshev 2016).

Remarks. This is the first report of the P. longiseta from Central Anatolia (Kýrþehir province) after its recording by Grootaert (2008) in the Aegean region (Aydin province), and in the Mediterranean region (Mersin province) by Pârvu & Popescu-Mirceni (2006).
