Specimens examined. One female, four males and six deutonymphs on Nothofagus pumilio . Near Ushuaia (Argentina); 54º 50'51" S, 68º 29'19" W; 18 m asl. 10 January 2013.

Comments. This species was previously known only from Chile. The measurements and other features of the female collected fit rather well with those given by González & Schuster in the original description and subsequently by Chant & Yoshida-Shaul (1984).
