Zavrelimyia (Paramerina) valida (Paul, Hazra and Mazumdar, 2013): Silva & Ekrem, 2016: 82

Materials examined: Holotype male with pupal exuviae (reared), INDIA: West Bengal: Kalimpong, Deolo Hill (23°6N, 87°47ʹE), 02.X.2009, Coll. N. Das’ . Paratypes 2 males with pupal exuviae (reared), as holotype.

Remarks. The male can be separable from the other members of this genus by the AR more than 2.5 and the distinct circular patches of setal tuft on T I–III. The pupa is distinct in the large plastron plate, the robust, pigmented Dc 1, and the posterolateral corner of T III–V without pedes spurii A. In the original description (Paul et al., 2013), the authors wrote, “Tergite IX normal with posterior row of 7–9 setae.” We found the position and number of the circular patches are also wrong in the figure of the original description which we have corrected here (Figure 3A). We examined the holotype and paratypes and it was revealed that the T IX (Figure 3B) has no transverse row setae.
