Mirogrex terraesanctae (Steinitz, 1952)

Remarks. This species was identified from Lake Tiberias (Galilée), Israel. Beckman (1962: 86) reported it from Lake Tiberias as Acanthobrama terraesanctae, and FishBase lists it as being from Syria based on Krupp & Schneider (1989). Syria is not a part of the species’ natural distribution range. The existence of the species must be clarified.
