Distribution. NSW, Qld, SA
Hosts. LEGUMINOSAE: Acacia pendula (Martin, 1999) . OLEACEAE: Notelaea longifolia (ANIC). RUTACEAE: Acronychia sp. (Martin, 1999); Melicope (Euodia) sp. (Martin, 1999); Geijera parviflora (Martin, 1999) . SAPINDACEAE: Alectryon oleifolium (Martin, 1999) .
Comments. This species is usually more common in xeric habitats than other Aleurocanthus species. A. froggatti has a characteristic submarginal ring of 9 pairs of short glandular spines of uniform length, clearly separating it from the closely related A. neofroggatti sp. n. has eleven pairs of glandular spines.
