Type locality. Denmark (M̧ller, 1776: 184) .

Records from Colombia. Locality 17 and 19 (as Isotomurus cf. palustris in Manzano 1990: 27).

Distribution. Cosmopolitan (Mari-Mutt & Bellinger 1990, 1996; Mari-Mutt et al. 1997 –2023; Bellinger et al. 1996 –2023).
