Ganguilus insignis (Navás): Stange 2004: 175.

The holotype from Bardia [31°46’N 25°06’E] (Libya) has not been located. The drawing of the forewing published by Navás (1930a) does not correspond to any known species (Fig. 49). Following Stange (2004), we provisionally retain this species in the genus Ganguilus, pending new material to confirm or reject this placement.
