Parco Naturale delle Alpi Marittime: AB, FRA, FAG, PAL numerous to very numerous, PRATO single records; one of the most numerous species in the area.

General distribution: Northern, southern Italy; Italian, Swiss, Austrian Alps; Holarctic, New Zealand, Hawaii.

Habitat preferences: euryoecious.

Remark: Body length 295–340 µm.
