Iracema Pérez­Miles 2000

Iracema Pérez­Miles, 2000: 142, figs. 1–7; type species: Iracema cabocla Pérez­Miles, 2000 by original designation; holotype male from Maracá, Roraima, Brazil, paratype male and 2 females from the same locality as the holotype, deposited in the collection of the INPA, Manaus, Brazil, examined. — Platnick (2003).

Diagnosis. Iracema can be recognized by having the combination of the following characters: type IV of urticating hairs, bulb resting in a ventral distal excavation of the male palpal tibia, male metatarsus I passes between the two tibial spur branches when flexed, labium with less than 20 cuspules, and the presence of many spiniform setae on the prolateral and retrolateral sides of maxillae and coxae I–IV.
