7. Sceliphron intrudens (F. Smith, 1858)

Pelopeus intrudens F. Smith, 1858: 15, ♀, ♂. Lectotype: ♀, Indonesia: Sulawesi: no specific locality (BMNH), designated by van der Vecht & van Breugel 1968: 212.

Diagnosis. Female. Frons distinctly pilose; clypeus incised medially; mesoscutum and propodeum transversely striate; scutellum and metanotum longitudinally striate; mesepisternum more or less coarsely punctate; metasoma smooth and shining; petiole pale yellow.

Male. Similar to female except smaller in size (F. Smith 1858; van der Vecht & van Breugel 1968).

Note. No specimens were seen during the present study, hence the above diagnosis has been based on the published descriptions (F. Smith 1858; Bingham 1897; van der Vecht & van Breugel 1968).

Distribution. India: Sikkim, Meghalaya. Elsewhere: Indonesia; Malaysia; Maldives; Myanmar; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Vietnam (Jonathan & Kundu 2003; Pulawski 2021).
