Sceliphron rectum rectum Kohl, 1918: 124, ♀. Holotype: ♂, India: Sikkim: no specific locality (ZMHU).
Diagnosis. Female. Frons distinctly pilose; clypeus apico-medially without lateral incisions (c.f. Fig. 12 of Hensen (1987: 223)); pronotal collar and scutellum dorsally with yellow band; petiole in lateral view nearly straight, yellowish; propodeum and metasoma black.
Male. Metanotum, propodeum and metasoma black; hind tibiae yellow on outer side.
According to Hensen (1987), S. rectum rectum Kohl is similar to S. rectum pulchellum Gussakovskij in general morphology and differs only in colouration.
Note. No specimens were seen during the present study, so the above diagnosis has been based on the published descriptions (Kohl 1918; Hensen 1987).
