Eucyane variabilis roseofasciata Zerny, 1928: 3 . Lectotype hereby designated, male: COLOMBIA, Bella Vista, August 1927; with three labels: “ Type ”, a printed label “W. Columbien, Bella Vista, August 1927 ”, and a handwritten label “Eucyane variabilis roseofasciata Zerny ♂ Zerny type ” (ZMHB) [examined]. New synonym of Hypocrita variabilis variabilis .

Current combination. Junior subjective synonym of Hypocrita variabilis variabilis (Zerny, 1928) .

Condition of the type. Left antenna missing. Wings worn and slightly damaged. Left midleg missing.
