Squamosa undulophallus Wu, Solovyev & Han, 2022, ZooKeys, 1090: 153. Type locality: China, Motuo (= Medog) County.
Material examined. 1♂, India, Arunachal Pradesh, Lower Dibang valley dist., Mishmi Hills Camp, 28.158497°N, 95.85441°E, 11.V.2022, coll. local collector (IJ3655, gen. prep. 824) .
Diagnosis. Forewing length 18 mm, wingspan 39 mm in male. The species is very similar to S. chalcites in appearance, but it can be distinguished by the middle of costal margin area of forewing is covered by dense black scales and the medial patch of forewing is conspicuous. In S. chalcites, the forewing only bears small scattered black scales, and the medial patch of forewing is blurry. In the male genitalia, the species has left process of juxta long plate-shaped, which is sawblade-shaped in S. chalcites .
Distribution (Fig. 9). India: Meghalaya (Wu et al. 2022); Arunachal Pradesh (Present study). Global records: China (Xizang: Motuo), Myanmar (Kachin) (Wu et al. 2022).
Remarks. The species was earlier reported from Meghalaya (Wu et al. 2022). In the present study, the species was collected from the lowland forest of Lower Dibang valley, Arunachal Pradesh (India).
