Notes — Müller-Argoviensis (1860b) indicated the gathering Karwinsky 1348 from the herbarium LE in the prologue of A. megalocarpon . However, since there are three sheets in LE (LE barcodes LE00004506, LE00004507, and LE00004508), and it is not clear if they are part of the same material mounted on three herbarium sheets (ICN article 8.3, Ex. 9; Turland et al. 2018), we elected the one including follicles as the lectotype of A. megalocarpon (LE barcode LE00004506) (ICN article 9.3; Turland et al. 2018). Moreover, Woodson (1934) indicated the gathering Cufodontis 220 in the prologue of Cufodontia stegomeris but did not cite in which herbarium the type would be deposited. Thus, we selected the best-preserved specimen from this collection as the lectotype of C. stegomeris (F barcode V0048156F) (ICN article 9.3; Turland et al. 2018).
