Type species — Lepturgantes variegatus Gilmour, 1955 (original designation).

Diagnosis. Frons broad and moderately convex; eyes distinctly longer than the genae. Antennae 12-segmented in both sexes. Prothorax transverse or trapezoidal; sides of prothorax with developed tubercle near base. Pronotum without tubercles. Prosternal process and mesoventral process narrow, laminiform. Elytra elongate, without erect or semidecumbent setae (present only on lateral margin); without carina or centrobasal crest.
