Type species — Trichillurges fasciatus Gilmour, 1961 (original designation) [= Eutrichillus brasiliensis Melzer, 1935].

Diagnosis. Prothorax with lateral tubercle in the posterior third, the apex acute and directed backward; pronotum tuberculate; elytral centrobasal crest elevated, with setae on top; basal metatarsomere about as long as next two together. Number of species currently included: 7.
