TYPE SPECIES. Odopoea biolleyi Distant 1903: 526 . (Costa Rica)

Remarks. The genus was recently redescribed and the species diversity expanded significantly (Sanborn 2018a). Their laterally expanded pronotum and curled timbal covers on the posterior timbal cavity can distinguish species of Procollina .

Distribution. Species of this genus are generally found at altitude (Sanborn 2018a). The genus is restricted to Mexico and Central America with records from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama (Metcalf 1963c; Duffels & van der Laan 1985; Sanborn 2013; 2014; 2018a).
