Transandinomys Weksler, Percequillo & Voss 2006

The genus Transandinomys comprises two species, T. bolivaris (Allen 1901), and T. talamacae (Allen 1891) . Both occur in tropical lowland and premontane trans-Andean rain forests from north-eastern Nicaragua throughout much of Costa Rica and Panama to Colombia, western Ecuador, and northern Venezuela (Musser et al. 1998; Weksler et al. 2006).
