Tomaspisinella (s.s.) lucifer sp.nov.

Etymology. lucifer (noun in apposition), light bearer.

Diagnosis. Brown with yellow spot at tip of head (holotype) or black with white spot at tip of head (paratypes). Description. A prominent white spot on costa of tegmen (a minute pale spot also on claval suture in 1 paratype). Pronotum longitudinally furrowed as in T. caligata but with median carina obscure. Male pygofer depressed, almost continuous with vertical male subgenital plates tapered to decurved hooked tip (Fig. 29 A), separated by narrow slit (Fig. 29 D); styles slightly arched at midlength, tapered to rounded tip bearing a few small setae; phallobase with long dorsal extension curving cephalad at top (Fig. 29 B); theca curving cephalad, narrowing towards midlength, bearing a pair of retrorse processes at tip extending half way to base (Fig. 29 C). Length: male 5.5–6.5 [holotype] mm; female unknown.
