Genus Crenopharynx Filipjev, 1934

Diagnosis (emended from Platonova 1976; Zograf et al. 2015). Crenopharynginae . Pharyngeal capsule with long outgrowths filled with muscular tissue at the anterior end, cephalic capsule weakly developed (type III pharyngocephalic complex). Ocelli absent. Tail conico-cylindrical in shape, filiform in cylindrical part. Spicules longer than 3.0 anal body diameters. Precloacal supplement absent.
