Calamincola lobatus Casto, 1978

This species was described from Crotophaga sulcirostris from USA (Texas) (Casto 1977, 1978). Then, Hromada et al. (2016) found it on the same host species from Mexico (Jalisco) and Colombia. Herein, I provide another record of this species from a new locality in Mexico (Veracruz).

Material examined. Three females and 2 males from Crotophaga sulcirostris, MEXICO: Veracruz, Los Tuxtlas, 15 May 2008, coll. S.V. Mironov (SVM 08-0515-1/2); mite specimens deposited in UNAM and UMMZ.
