Strigamia munda (Chamberlin, 1952)

References for morphology: Chamberlin 1952.

Taxonomic notes. It was described originally as a species of Linotaenia . No other specimens were recorded, and it was suspected to be identical to S. acuminata (Zapparoli 1999) . Relying on the original description and on the direct examination of representative specimens, we recognize it as a distinct species, and assign it to Strigamia for the first time (new combination) because it shares all major diagnostic features of Strigamia .

Distribution: Anatolia.
