Strigamia svenhedini (Verhoeff, 1933)

References for morphology: Verhoeff 1933, 1938a, 1938c.

Taxonomic notes. Described originally as a species in a distinct genus Paraplanes, it has not been recorded since. Its validity was never questioned, but it was cited only rarely, under either Paraplanes or Tomotaenia. It is assigned here to Strigamia for the first time (new combination), because it shares all major diagnostic features of this genus.

Distribution: south-eastern part of mainland Asia, from central China to Indochina, and Taiwan.
