Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Corfu Island, between Vrioni and Ponti (type locality) (Strasser 1976). World distribution. Endemic to the island of Corfu, Greece.

Remarks. Strasser could not demonstrate a distinct distribution of the two subspecies on the island. However, the gonopodal differences were so remarkable that he suggested a separate subspecies status for the form discrepans (Strasser 1976). New collections are necessary to resolve a clear picture of the status of the two forms.
